Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) and Special Districts Insurance Services (SDIS) are offering an employee assistance program (EAP) to all career professional firefighters, 911 dispatchers, and police officers employed with our SDIS member districts.
This EAP is specifically designed for emergency responders and fire professionals. The program offers up to six in-person counseling sessions annually and utilizes mental health professionals specializing in fire and EMS issues.
Please review the program flyer explaining the benefits offered as well as a flyer with information about how to access services. We encourage you to use these to communicate with your career professional fire fighters about this new opportunity. Public Safety EAP has also developed a great video explaining the benefits available.
Silverton Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
