Feb 17. Resident Volunteer Applications now being accepted 

Are you interested in furthering your Fire/EMS education? Why not become a Resident Volunteer with Silverton Fire District? Silverton Fire is currently seeking highly motivated students to fill 2 anticipated openings in our program.

 

To qualify you must meet the following criteria;

- Currently enrolled or have been accepted in one of the following program

- Fire Suppression

- High School Diploma or GED

- 18 years old at time of application

- Valid Drivers License

-Pass all pre-employment screenings to include; Physical Ability Test, Drug Screen, Criminal History check, Insurable driving record.

 

As s member of the Silverton Fire District Resident Volunteer Program you will have the opportunity to work along side both Career and Volunteer members. In 2018 we responded to 1120 calls for service, of those calls; 29 were structure fires, 68 other types of fires and 550 medical calls.
