Sep 14, 2020. WILDFIRE 2020 UPDATES

As of 11:00am on Monday, September 14, 2020 the evacuation level for the City of Silverton is at a Level 1 "Be Ready" evacuation notice, outskirts of Silverton remain at a Level 2 "Be Set" evacuation notice. Some areas in the City of Scotts Mills moved to a Level 2 "Be Set" evacuation notice, outskirts of Scotts Mills remain at a Level 3 "Go Now" evacuation notice. The air quality is currently Hazardous. The City of Silverton is sharing maps with current suggested routes out of Silverton in the event of evacuations. - Preferred routes are Pine Street/Hazelgreen or Silverton Road to access the Salem area or I-5. - AVOID traveling via Oak Street/213 North via Mulino and Molalla towards Oregon City and Portland as this will lead you through Level 3 – “Go Now” territory. - 213/Cascade Highway is CLOSED at the 211 intersection (Molalla Market Center).
